Life Experiences

Wow, what a whirlwind month it has been.

I thought I was busy before turning 40. Since then I have not stopped. Trips to the State of Origin in Sydney ( amazing, we won, but lost the series), wanted to cry.

Another trip to Sydney to visit the Good Food and Wine show. Cannot wait to go again, amazing and well worth the entry fee. By the end of the day I had tried so many things, I could hardly taste anything.

Then a visit to the brazilian bbq place in Darling Harbour ( Brazzier, i think). You purchase either the small or large option, and they proceed to bring you skewers of all kinds of different meats, which they carve right onto your plate. Beef, chicken, pork, sausage, pineapple with side salads, and thats just the small. Amazing experience and food overload.

Experiences would not be without a trip to see Lady Ga Ga. Now to all those Ga Ga little monster fans, she is a very talented performer, musician and singer. That is however where my praises stop.

I have been to alot of concerts, and I have no way in one word, to describe what this concert was like. Costume changes?? yes. Controversy at its best?? Yes. Unacceptable for children under 16yrs??? yes.

I was sitting next to a young lady, 12 years of age, who was attending her first concert ( no Bieber for her). I wanted to cover her eyes, and question the mother as to how much research went into what the concert was all about.

Now alot of the innuendos went over this young ladies head, who was totally in her element singing away to her idols songs. However some of the vulgarity was so blatantly in your face, i just didnt know what to think.

Anywayz, as I said, I am not knocking Ga Ga, and am grateful to my friends that bought me the ticket, ( she also went with me, and still has no explanation herself).

Just have to put it down to another on of lifes experiences.

Lol, Cheers!!!
